McCreary Law Office Expands to Include Elder Law and Special Needs Law

McCreary Law Office is excited to announce its enhancement of the firm’s ability to help families plan and protect their legacy and their personal and healthcare security. The firm has expanded its practice area to include Elder Law and Special Needs Law. With over 10,000 Americans turning 65 every day and a projected 40 million Americans 65 years or older, this is an underserved segment. Baby boomers are growing older and living longer, and they’ve often fewer resources for long-term care. The importance of planning for one’s needs is essential. McCreary Law Office is dedicated to helping in this area.

To support this new practice area, Jana R. McCreary, attorney and owner of McCreary Law Office, P.A., has become a member of ElderCounsel, a national organization of elder law and special needs planning attorneys.

Founded by several of the country’s most renowned elder law and special needs planning attorneys, ElderCounsel provides its members with continuing legal education on planning for seniors and their families and those with special needs; ElderDocx®, a cutting edge software program for creating superior elder law and special needs planning legal documents; and a forum in which ideas and expertise on elder law and special needs planning are freely exchanged among attorneys.

This spring, Ms. McCreary has immersed herself in the study of the elder law arena, participating in the Jacksonville Bar Association Elder Law section and completing extensive continuing education seminars. She has also been busy connecting with contacts and referral sources needed to properly advise and serve clients with respect to long-term-care issues including assessment, application for assistance, and insurance analysis.

McCreary Law Office remains committed to providing focused and individualized services in estate planning, a natural partnering practice area to elder law. If you have any questions about the practice areas, please call (904) 425-9046.
